For as long as I can remember, I have struggled to accept the fact of our physical existence on Earth. The exhibition was created out of my attempt to explore this idea, and to examine different questions regarding it. A search for a disappearing physicality, the disassembly and reconstruction of the body, the relationship between human and nature, an attempt to connect the domesticated with the wild.

The exhibition is about the tension between controlling and letting go. The sculptures are soft and flexible, affected by gravity and slowly falling apart. The same ropes that hold the statues are the same ones that make them collapse, and any attempt to tighten the grip will only speed up the process. The work is about disruptions, miscarriages, attempts that wanted to be, and in the end didn't happen.

I am drawn to the rejected and abandoned objects, collecting leftovers from the street and from my home - dried flowers and leaves, cigarette ashes, soil, used coffee. All these materials are collected and poured into the sculptures, giving them another possibility of life.
