Work In Progress

At this project, I have turned the gallery space into my own studio, and worked at the pieces in front on the the visiting audience. This happening was made in order to challenge and to stretch the boundaries between the artist, the audience and the process of creating the artworks, An interest that lies in the core my work.

This project also illuminates the concept of time, and the way we comprehend it. At my opinion, time is not a linear strait forward movement, but something way more fluid and spiral. Therefore, I have wanted to create something more fluid in the way of making and presenting the works. Instead of working subordinate to the deadline of the exhibition opening evening, I have suggested another way- a way that is more flexible for final notes, that provides space for contemplation, thoughts, confusion, and wonder.

The pieces do not have one final stage. They are always changing, allowing the visitor to experience the progress and movements of the artistic process, as well as the world’s.
